Can I ask a stupid question?

If the next president is a Republican, can he simply rescind these EPA rules which are being implemented for clean air, clean water, etc.??? The EPA rule which is going to result in shutting down power plants seems especially extreme. But in that it’s an EPA rule, a bureaucratic regulation, not a law passed by Congress, I wondered if the next president can simply get rid of it??

Of course a President Democrat and the EPA will simply push us farther down that road if a Democrat succeeds Obama.

Yes and so can congress. But will they?

This is illustrative of how the USA is not the nation it was just 25 years ago. Unelected judges with lifetime appointments and faceless beaurocrats, both of whom are 100% unaccountable to the people, create laws that destroy our property rights, our industry, and our freedoms and we can do nothing about it.

Is this the same EPA that polluted the river in Colorado with mine waste?
