I know Seneca very well. It’s pretty slow. It’s summer time, Clemson is empty. There are some bad parts outside the city limits, crack houses mainly. I used to bike on some of the dirt roads until I started smelling solvents all over the place. There are 10x the number of churches as there are bars + ABC stores. During the Clemson football season and thereabout, the Seneca police run sobriety check points, other than that I’m surprised that
they actually felt the need to shoot somebody. That Hardy’s is like two years old and right next to Bojangles which is about 1 year old. Those parking lots are *very* well lighted so there should be a clear and well lit video.
I live a few miles from Seneca. I know the kids parents. The local rumor mill is unanimous that the kid was murdered.
In addition to the cops withholding the dash cam, they are also withholding the Hardee's security video.
Now, let me ask you something. If that security video supported what the cops are saying don't you think they would have released the video to the press within hours of the killing to be run on the local news over and over?
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
