Havana cardinal delivered letter from Pope Francis to President Obama [gay activist go-between]

Three months before the historic announcement in December that the U.S. would re-establish full diplomatic relations with Cuba, Havana’s Cardinal Jaime Ortega made a trip to the White House and hand delivered a letter from Pope Francis to President Barack Obama.

The meeting was sensitive enough to be kept under the radar - the Cuban cardinal’s name did not appear in the White House visitors’ log. The pope’s letter, addressed to Obama, offered to “help in any way possible” in negotiations with Cuba....

A key player, according to the authors: The Trimpa Group, a lobbying business with offices in Denver and Washington, D.C.

Among other things, the Trimpa Group paid for polls, performed by Obama’s pollster, John Anzalone, the Atlantic Council and FIU on the issue of Cuba relations.

A CNN story says: One of those friends is Ted Trimpa, a prominent gay activist and Democratic strategist. His website says: Ted Trimpa is the Principal and CEO of Trimpa Group LLC, a national political consulting and government relations firm that specializes in progressive public policy advocacy and political strategy.

And the DHHS pushed equal insurance benefits for homosexual couples probably assisted by the Trimpa Group.
