I just bought n ew home a few months ago [new construction]. I have had the plumbers here numbers times.

All sinks, showers, faucets, shower heads [made by Kohler] are built to CA specifications.

I am furious at the lack of water pressure.

Dunno if this will help, but ..."Heads are still manufactured with flow restrictors, but the washers don't always save water. It is an open secret in the plumbing world that consumers often remove them -- a fix that takes less than a minute with a small kitchen knife.
