Kadner: L-Way District 210's financial decline shocking

Comments

" So, most likely both new schools will be vacant in 5 years because, we can't close the 60 year old money-pit Central "That's where the administrative offices are". What a sad expensive joke.

Henry Bros. made nearly $30 million, while Dahlquist and Lutzow made nearly $12 million, according to the district.

Records show at least one official with each firm was involved with the district's research early on, before a financial decision on how many schools to build was made, but Sawin said he doesn't believe that influenced the district's ultimate decision."

Sawin said the district ultimately decided to push for two schools instead of one because it was the "prevailing thought" in the community.

I'm glad they were not deciding what to do about AGW.

Just more Democrat fraud in collusion with construction unions.

A little Illinois history:

Unions, groups ‘all-in’ Illinois governor’s race
By SARA BURNETT and SOPHIA TAREEN Mar. 19, 2014 10:41 PM EDT

On Wednesday, Quinn held a news conference at a Chicago construction site, where he thanked union members

The Democratic Governors Association and organized labor also say a Quinn victory will be a top priority, as unions try to avoid the kinds of blows they’ve felt under GOP governors in places like Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana. Organized labor spent millions on ads during the primary that attacked Rauner, who has called Walker and former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels his role models.

Quinn served as lieutenant governor to Gov. Rod Blagojevich, later convicted of corruption. The Democratic incumbent points to the bleak situation he inherited when he took office five years ago — when the state was in a recession and had one governor in prison and another on his way.

Sounds like their next plan will be to build a new administrative building.

Democrats always equal destruction and they never ever learn.
