Qualifications for presidential candidates have remained the same since the year Washington accepted the presidency. As directed by the Constitution, a presidential candidate must be a natural born citizen of the United States, a resident for 14 years, and 35 years of age or older.

Obviously, Democrats would vote for her even if she were convicted. There is nothing in the Constitution that precludes her from serving after being convicted of a felony and nothing that would preclude her from pardoning herself.

She could run, but could never hold office.. She is definitely guilty of violating
18 USC Section 2071 b ( Whether anyone would prosecute is another matter ):
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.

Nah, I think I remember it’s a disqualification for any eligibility and appointment. She can be convicted of treason, I don’t think the punishment is set in stone but eh. Not worth looking it up just to support a pithy comment.
