I am feeling betrayed
vanity | 12 August 2015 | BRK

Posted on 08/12/2015 9:59:00 AM PDT by BRK

After the big GOP debate event the other night, I was left devastated by the behavior of the Fox News hosts.

Today, I hear this is all part of a larger plan for Fox News to betray it's core audience of conservatives in an attempt to move to the center and grab market share from the major networks.

Guys, I am very depressed by this news. I was already sickened by Fox radio news every hour on the hour, and now to watch Megyn Kelly and other Fox leaders make a "career move" while serving masters of the GOPe is making me want to throw up. The long list of kudos and high fives from the commie leftist media just added to my disgust.

We were already betrayed in 2010 and big time after the 2014 elections, but if we lose Fox News like what I was hearing about this morning, we are are going be be a very disappointed bunch of folks. What's next?

It’s an oppportunity for some entrepeneur of means - such as a Trump - to start a conservative TV news network.

Megyn Kelly and other Fox leaders

She's a "leader"?

She could lead drunk guys into the "Champagne Room" at the topless bar maybe.

Not to flame on you, but...

Are you nuts?

Fox News went liberal years ago. They just pretend and give lip service to conservative ideals.

My exact thought also. All of us who don’t want left wing news will be ready to land at a new place. FOX can end up being the new MSNBC.

“Today, I hear this is all part of a larger plan for Fox News to betray it’s core audience of conservatives in an attempt to move to the center and grab market share from the major networks.”

This sounds exactly like the GOP. It also sounds like Jeb Bush’s strategy.

“Faux was LOST a long time ago.”

Never could tell the difference between them and ABC News at the top of the hour.

to betray it's core audience of conservatives

To "betray" something implies a duty.

If you think Fox News has or had some sort of a duty to conservatives, you're crazy.

Trump may not be a conservative. I am not sure, I am only supporting him for now because he is sticking it to all the elites. He is smashing their plan to sneak Bush through all the primaries with 15-20% of the vote and the rest of the vote being split 15 ways. Trump is all that stands between us and a Bush nomination at this point. The sad reality is that Trump bashers are Bush supporters, even if they do not know it. If trump had not been on that stage last week, I believe Cruz would have been target central.

I have not watched Fox since the end of the debate last week.

I am through with the channel(s) I also won’t watch Fox Business as well, and maybe even cable television (since there are no conservative channels) unless and until Megyn apologizes.

She was (way) out of line. And she attacked the tens of millions who support Donald Trump as well as Fox News.

Big, big mistake. Historic even.

It’s a TV network, a business. They aren’t your friend, they don’t like you, and they never promised to be nice to you. They’re job is to make money, the way a TV network makes money is to sell eyeballs to advertisers. More eyeballs means more money. And if losing you means gaining 100 others that’s not only what they will do, it’s what they SHOULD do.
