I agree with you on 0bama’s style and strategy. I believe he will replace her with Biden, and then Biden will be 0bama term III. He will even unabashedly run on that platform, and every move he makes will be choreographed by 0bama and Jarrett. JMHO
I figured if we’re hearing about it today.... the news is at least a couple of weeks old.
When she handed over the emails to the State Dept., she did so with hard copies (i.e. printed, not electronic) and asked State to release her emails as quickly as possible. The State Dept. noted that it would take them a significant amount of time to review those emails before they could release them because the emails were not in electronic format and therefore not searchable.
Now we find out that her attorney had in his possession a thumb drive containing the emails that were provided to the State Dept. in hard copy. She knew it would take the State Dept. time to review those hard copies. It was a delay tactic.

You say that like you believe anyone will ever indict the Clintons.
Clinton spin will soon announce the server in her basement was a trap to track down hackers from China and Russia. It was part of a deliberate disinformation campaign, and eventually a tool to prosecute the hackers while the real data was safe.
Moreover the chances are good that those hard copies did not have any attachments to the original e-mail’s printed out and accompanying.
