Meet Donald Trump's new inner circle

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump's campaign is tired of being a punch line.

In recent weeks, Trump's team has been plagued by staff infighting, inappropriate remarks and, of course, firings. Now that Trump, the billionaire businessman at the center of it all, has dismissed longtime aides and elevated a new flock of political operatives, his camp is trying to start a new phase.

"If we're going to run a different campaign, we don't need advice from people who know how campaigns were run two years ago, eight years ago, 20 years ago," said Chuck Laudner, Trump's Iowa state director. "We don't need an army of consultants."

In any presidential campaign, staff shakeups are often bitter and uncomfortable. In Trump's, they are also public battles -- a war of words, often coupled with the threat of lawsuits.

The departure of Roger Stone, Trump's longtime political adviser, over the weekend was no different. While a Trump spokesperson insisted he was fired, Stone and his associates said he quit after being unable to rein in the candidate.

I think Trump knows how to hire good people. I’m pretty sure he’ll make out OK as his staff experiences some turn-over.

"Donald Trump's campaign is tired of being a punch line."

Punch line? Oh, yes, a punch line. Here it is.

Greg Moore, who replaced him as AFP’s New Hampshire director, said his old boss excels at the “blocking and tackling” of political agitation.

“He always made sure the ‘i’s are dotted and ‘t’s are crossed,” said Moore. “I assure you the trains will run on time.”

So he knows how to hire good people but he chose not to?

I see.

Now who was it who made the (high speed) trains ‘run on time’?

First, he will have to finish building those high speed rail lines.

But then, I guess he can seize some more money from the ‘wealthy’ to pay for those brand new bullet trains.

The last thing in the world I worry about is will Donald Trump hire credible professionals to run his campaign. Get real.

I would have expected that as well- except he’s got Ed Rollins working for him. Not a choice I’d make- except maybe for Jeb.

So he worships Bill Clinton... “But he also isn’t hiding the fact that he is not a doctrinaire. He recently said that, out of the last four presidents, Bill Clinton was his favorite.”

Does Bill go both ways?

If it walks like a socialist liberal...
and talks like a socialist liberal...

It just might be...

El QUACKO

“Then: In an interview with Larry King in 1999, Trump said he was “very liberal when it comes to health care” and that he believes in “universal healthcare.””

What happened in 1999 and 2001... Hmmm. Lets think a minute.

“Party affiliation
Then: Trump changed his party from Republican to Independent Party in 1999, and switched again to Democrat in 2001.”

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2015/07/09/ths-many-ways-in-which-donald-trump-was-once-a-liberals-liberal/

That would be when Bush was the new President. and 9/11 just happened. “On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Often referred to as 9/11, the attacks resulted in extensive death and destruction, triggering major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defining the presidency of George W. Bush. Over 3,000 people were killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters.”

EL QUACKO

“...Donald Trump is a false-flag candidate. It’s all an act, one that benefits his good friend Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party that, until recently, counted the reality show star among its adherents. Indeed, Trump’s pronouncements – the open racism, the demagogic appeals, the faux-populist rhetoric – sound like something out of a Democratic political consultant’s imagination, a caricature of conservatism as performed by a master actor.”

Et Tu MSNBC ?!?

Donald Trump: Progressive champion?
06/17/15 07:58 AM—UPDATED 06/17/15 08:01 AM

“Trump has about as much chance of winning the progressive vote as Michael Moore does of winning the next CPAC straw poll. But over the course of his decades-long involvement in American political life, Trump has taken positions on liberal priorities that would put him firmly in the “Elizabeth Warren wing” of the Democratic Party.”

I believe Trump has been a useful means for ripping the covers off of the establishment elite in Washington and in the media. RINOs and GOPe have gotten crap all over themselves wrestling with him. Its been wonderful to watch the hacks wet themselves over Trump.

But he will eventually grow tired of this game as people will become bored with his constant bombast. There is a very good candidate who is waiting patiently for this to happen and when it does he'll pick up the cudgel.

So everyone just relax and enjoy the show.

The site has him becoming a democrat in August 2001.

What a curious time to become a democrat ?

“Which is not surprising. At the time he made those contributions, from August 2001 to September 2009, Trump was a registered Democrat. (He had been registered in New York first as a Republican, then a member of the Independence Party, then a Democrat, then a Republican again, and then became unaffiliated.)”
