My point is that most republican candidates who get elected by running as conservatives do not govern that way once they are in office. Look at our current situation with our House and Senate majorities and their “leadership”. They ran on the promise of stopping Obama but have not lifted a finger to do it once they won. Trump is not the guy who made voters despise and distrust the republican brand. Republicans are responsible for that.
I believe MANY, MANY, people are DONE worrying about who is the most conservative, I think they FINALLY realize they are ALL bought and paid for!!!!! What they want NOW is anyone who will NOT CARE about the CASH!!!!!!! It is a START breaking up the money monopoly!!!!!!
Oh, he's mastered the art of schmooze like few others. Not too long ago I caught a clip of him surrounded by supporters. He said something about his poll numbers, and then said, "I don't like not being first! Please make me first!" (Paraphrasing).
He understands his fans, and he knew when he put it that way they would go to the ends of the earth in their awe for him.
I can't imagine Cruz saying anything like that.

I can live with that much better than letting them stay here and be legal, which is what most of the CoC candidates are saying. Getting them all out and keeping them from illegally coming back is the big thing for me. Besides, having had experience with our immigration system, I am pretty confident that them “expediting” something will make the process even slower than it is now.

Well, I'm not for career politicians. I'm for Ted Cruz, who has been fighting the GOP and for the voters since his days as Texas Solicitor General. He's one of the few who take on your "career politicians."

It isn't about Trump, or Megyn Kelly, or any of these other personalities. This isn't one of Trump's reality shows.
It's about the country and the Constitution. I am for Cruz because he stays focused on those two things.
