Kurdish official Said Mimousini said 19 women have been executed by ISIS after they refused to have sex with fighters.
Following the brutal beheading of two women for allegations of witchcraft and sorcery, ISIS recently executed 19 women due to their refusal to participate in sexual acts with the group's fighters. Kurdish official Said Mimousini said the women were being held hostage in Mosul, Iraq, which is a stronghold of the terrorist group after its capture in June 2014. The women were executed a few days ago after they refused to engage in "sexual jihad," according to the Mirror.
A United Nations envoy, who has also been investigating the Islamic State's dark sex trade, stated that under present circumstances, captured girls who are being sold as sex slaves are being peddled by the insurgent group like barrels of gasoline.
The envoy also verified a disturbing document that has been circulating, which features age brackets for Yazidi and Christian women and their corresponding monetary values. Originally from the Sinjar district in northern Iraq, hundreds of Yazidi women, whom the insurgents see as heretics, were captured last year, reported the Daily Mail.
