I disagree. The media is different these days. Most people have little memory of what happened yesterday, let alone historical perspective.
Trump remains important and yet the media message is that he is should not be important and will not be important. The media continues to devalue themselves as long as he fights back and gets coverage. He is not going to be humiliated. How far did the classy response get GWB?
