But Bush won the debate said Laura Ingraham on Fox so I read. ;-)

I’m more interested in FoxNews numbers and specifically the Megyn File numbers.

I agree, these are not trustworthy, but it's seemed to take a long time for a post-debate "real" poll to come out . . . except PPP just tweeted this:

It will take a while for the Trump stuff to sort itself out but one thing very clear in our polling last night- Fiorina moving into top tier

Whoa! I could be wrong, but doesn't this sound like "We didn't see the anti-Trump numbers we hoped we'd see?"

Right. Anyone who brushes it off as a “Internet poll” doesn’t know what they are talking about. This is not one of those Wordpress radio button click to vote polls.

The scientific methodology of screening and cleaning still applies. It just allows them to monitor the pulse in real time and at a much more affordable price point.

I use Survey Monkey often to perform market research/intelligence for clients.

Fiorina moving into top tier...

Fiorina did well and should have gained ground, but I think since late Friday she has hurt herself by jumping on the trash Trump bandwagon with her Tweet that got a lot of circulation and comment.

She'd be smarter to just present her case and not be sucked into the anti-Trump circus, but Fox is slobbering all over her and sucking her into their circus.

I’m more interested in FoxNews numbers and specifically the Megyn File numbers.

I now consider her to be in the same class as Juan Williams, Geraldo Rivera and Alan Colmes.

Immediate mute or channel flip.

Hope her numbers take a noticeable dive and for that matter, all of FOX's numbers.

Correct, agree 100% on Carson. Good cabinet member with Palin and others. We need someone like Trump.

Exactly. BTW, note that the top four are non-pols (except Cruz, who is anti-establishment). Think there is a message there?

Laura Ingraham must really need the extra $$$$ foxnews pays her as a pundit/guest host and can’t afford to lose her foxnews gig in saying that Bush won the debate.

Almost everybody agrees that Bush did not come close to winning and was likely one of the losers

If you add up the totals for Trump, Cruz, Carson and Fiorina it’s 57%. That’s basically a middle finger to the Establishment.

Not one of those people is associated with the Washington DC GOPe. Although Fiorina may have shot herself in the foot with her statements this weekend. She should have hit the mute button until some polls came out.

Might be Walker doesn’t want to play in the GOP court but being ‘willingly’ forced to do so.....doesn’t mean he’s going to play his cards as well as they hope for. He’s got time to play them so they let him go... they’ll drop him and go to Rubio I think.

Cruz and Carly push to top. Only 16 months to go.

Trump 23% Cruz 13% Carson 11% Fiorina 8% Rubio 8% Bush 7% Walker 7%

Many expected Cruz, Carson and Fiorina to make gains in the polls after the debate. The question I had was: at whose expense? Based on this one poll, their gains appear to have been at the expense of other candidates and not Trump.

Fantastic if that holds for later polls, and Trump appears to have gained support also based on this early poll.

They (Cruz and Trump) are drafting each other like NASCAR drivers.

I hope so, and think so. And see my #56. If that proves to be true for most of the later polls, then things really looking great for the non-pol candidates, and for the USA.

Well I’m not a huge poll watcher because a candidate can give one speech and up they go or down. Fox show was not a debate....not only in their questions but in the time and number of opportunites NOT given for candidates to speak.

Cruz is who I will vote for regardless of poll ratings....there simply isn’t a better individual , nor better prepared with his crew set in Washington as he is.
