Did Trump mean to leave the implication in the air? Maybe, I don’t know. But there was more than plausible deniability if he did.
So this thing is as ridiculous on the GOP and media’s part as Romney’s “binders full of women” dust up was on part of the Dems and the media back in 2012.
It’s a good example to raise in reminder because it was at least as ridiculous and widespread—coming from the Democrats.
Plausible deniablility works well in court in the legal perspective. Not so well in the court of public opinion.
