Conservatives seem to be split in their opinions. Some think hes a goofball, a blowhard and an idiot. Others view him as a serious contender unafraid to tackle the proverbial herd of elephants in the room.
So why is The Donald resonating with folks in Flyover Country? Simple. We elected a majority of Republicans in Congress in 2014; and what did they do? They betrayed our trust and our wishes, and immediately caved to the presidents progressive agenda. We didnt like that.
Republicans have a lot to answer for to the people. They promised to get tough on a variety of issues and keep the Democrats from dismantling the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Then, as usual, the moment they got into office they began to plead their weak inability to stop those awful nasty Democrats, while holding out their hands and asking for more money and votes to stop the awful nasty Democrats. Blah blah blah. Repeat repeat repeat.

Monty Python and gang were prescient.
To wit:
The GOP’s not pinin’! It’s passed on! This party is no more! It has ceased to be! It’s expired and gone to meet its maker! It’s a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace!
Its metabolic processes are now ‘istory! It’s off the twig!
It’s kicked the bucket, it’s shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisibile!!
THIS IS AN EX-PARTY!!
Trump leads the pack with support in the mid- to upper-20s.
Where, exactly, do the wizards of smart expect these people will go if they succeed in taking out The Donald?
Bush? (barf)
Rubio? (barf)
Kasich? (double barf)
If I had to hazard a guess, the GOP-e would be happy with the upstarts staying at home which, of course, would ensure a DemocRAT victory.
Of course, the GOP-e would probably be happy with that result, as well.
They nailed it. I personally help get the present congressman in MIch 1 started after the prior congressman was key in passing Obama Care. Well...guess what he has done, has a conservative rating of less than 50% Out and out lied to get elected.
And they cant understand why many would support a man who tells it like it is? The whole dam bunch are arrogant bastards and are led by the worst low life....can not think of the words.
Trump admits to his downside. HE ADMITS TO THEM. He admits he played the game with the suckers around the nor loch. He doesnt need the cash to run his campaign and tells people so.
Who else in this cycle have done that?
1st...Cruz
2nd Trump..unless he gets off the me bandwagon. Then i personally will reconsider.
I want to know his solutions from him and not some web site or book.
I would have a lot more respect for Carly Fiorina if she had come and said she has her differences with Donald Trump and finds him personally offensive but did not in any way see how his blood coming out of her eyes remark about Cruella Kelly could be construed as a comment about her being on her period.
Watching Fox News Sunday - Immigration discussion was completely off the table now that they think they have successfully marginalized Trump.
That’s obviously what it’s all about.
When WND gets it right, the bastards might want to take note. We the people no longer accept their lies. If it takes a Trump to start the eviction process in Washington, so be it!
>>Of course, the GOP-e would probably be happy with that result, as well.
That is their plan. The GOPe knows Cloward-Piven as well as the Democrats. They know that the death spiral is already in place and there’s no pulling out of the dive. They also know that the Democrat solution is to fully implement the Socialist agenda with a vengeance as soon as we hit bottom, and that they (the GOPe) lack the courage to even do the thing that they are hoping the Democrats will do.
Basically, they want the Democrats to enslave us and then they will step up and represent “the voice of reason” that will “rescue” the productive members of society from slavery to the government by selling us to their Corporatist cronies so we can slaves to them (well, not really slaves because, “you can always choose to go back to the government work farm”).
Not sure if wnd has it right but their stellar contributer, Ms. Lewis, certainly does. And they live way up in the northern reaches of Idaho. Of course some folks might say she’s too removed from what’s going on in the “real” world to know. Me, I think, once again, that she is spot on.
Finally someone else said it. Coolness has been achieved...
I’ve been saying the same thing all along, this writer just said it better than I have.
QUOTE -
The reason why Trump is getting every politician mad both Democrats and Republicans is he exposes them. With a few verbal strokes, he strips them naked. He showcases their namby-pamby wishy-washiness and contrasts it with his vulgar, brash but honest approach. In a sea of choking lies, Trumps truth is a breath of fresh air.

Same thing I’ve said from day one. I watched his announcement speech, it took a couple of days before the stuffed suits could figure out which direction to attack from. That’s because they were afraid to bring up their main beef...
Politicians are all talk and no action...our leaders are incompetent...
And so forth. Both parties hate Trump because he stands there without apologies and tells us how useless the blowhards in DC are, and he’s right.
Nobody was really all that indignant about his comments on illegal immigration, McCain, trade...they hate his comments about their own sorry asses and THAT, folks, is the big issue here. And it’s why I’ve maintained all along I’m convinced he’s pulling voters from every direction, not just Republicans.
A bit off topic, but I also think we should seriously consider the possibility Trump can run 3rd party AND win it...but only (if it happens) if we get firmly in his corner and support the hell out of it.
