As Freeper jpsb said on another thread: Trump [has] all the right enemies and he fights.
And as I replied: PERIOD, END OF SUBJECT.
The Donald has not focused on every single serious issue (e.g. there is some question about how he would treat the abortion issue) but he’s singled out some for which great concern exists.
Inasmuch as this, Donald represents a pushback to Barack Obama.
You're missing the point. That he can get air regardless of his demeanor and delivery (that which has been used to wreck more than a few conservative careers) IS!
BTW...welcome to FR.
What I’m starting to find is that the conservative movement is full of more wimps than the GOPe.
If you cant brass knuckle the left without heading to the fainting couch, does anyone think some “soft-spoken” rube, thinking that witty quips and a coy smile, is going to beat these people?
Short questions with long answers
1 Listen to Rick Santorums interview on Greta last night
Then research how the established political party manipulated the rules in Florida so Rooney not Newt won.
American have had the established undermine their choices in favor of elitism controlling the nominee. It is the reason DT was put in the position “HANDS UP SHOOT!” (the audience was stacked as in soviet counties with loyal GOP office holders attending a state conference — Their closing season. That is why there were only 4500 in a 20000 capacity forum )
Most candidates must perform a those who pay the bills including RNC dictate (Carly F funded by Uniserve same that funds McCain)
So Trump is laying his fortune His honor and His honor on the line. Many say he is too liberal or not conservative. Doesn’t make a difference. He is an AMERICAN PATRIOT. I Will stand with him to return to BY THE PEOPLE and MAKE OUR COUNTRY GREAT AGAIN!
It’s really very simple. Donald Trump is an American political phenomenon. I, and others, are trying to understand why?

It’s not hard to answer. Trump has a set of brass gonads with the unique financial independence and determination to bust the political cartel that is destroying this country. He is a diamond in the rough that is conducting our fight to break the shackles of tyranny, a revolutionary that may succeed in doing so without our having to resort to the ultimate and final option, physical force.
You just joined up in April, you're accusing the Huckster of being a conservative, and you're promising "respect" based on conditions? I think maybe you should watch your step Noob, it's a long way down if you slip.
Yes Trump will have turned this country around by 2024.
Trump is the only candidate in either party that understands the economy. And not because he is a successful business man, though that helps. But because he is focused on jobs and has recognized the role that our poor trade policies have played in off-shoring jobs and de-industrializing America.
If you can a majority of the 100 million Americans on food stamps back into the labor force earning salaries, paying taxes and spending into the American economy, then you will have seriously turned around the economic engine of America.
And having done that, you’d see huge increases in government revenues even as government outlays for support programs drop. That’s how you balance the budget and keep programs like social security and Medicare in tact.
Thank you for your input.
My concern is, more than anything else, we need to ensure the Dems do not elect their candidate in 2016. That would be the end of America as we know it, if it hasn’t already been eliminated by Obama by Jan 20, 2017.
re: Orderly replies such as yours vs. the Keyboard Krazies. 45 years of DC law practice helps one to expect the latter.... and separate the two.
Be well.
Spacebar is right. Either you get it or you dont.
My answer was quite serious.
I politely asked for serious answers. Your input will be respected.... if you will please provide it.
And that is the great usefulness of the Donald. He isn’t a personal conservative (at least by history, though maybe his demeanor could still change as he sees where his political bread is buttered) but he agrees with conservatives on a group of important issues and isn’t exactly getting in their faces on any issues at this point either.
You get a lot of out of the box thinking here. Whether or not you like it.
Trump is a campaign Conservative. He is going to run third party and is doing his best to get the Hildabeast elected.
I think that at the end of the day he is saying the things the real candidates can’t say. I love his war on PC. We need it. With his comments and national responses to them, he is clearing the way for folks like Cruz.
But we’ll see as time goes on.
It sounds like a strange way to do it, however, by pressing the GOP to actually look like something different from the Democrats.
You are exactly right. The VAST majority of Americans are sick to death of the PC bullsh*t and admire a man like Trump who has the spine to tell it like it is and not be intimidated by anyone.
My concern is, more than anything else, we need to ensure the Dems do not elect their candidate in 2016.
But many Conservatories are asking if the rest of the American voters can get past the “angry inner child” Trump long enough to seriously listen to him.
It’s like I once told my then-teenage daughter, “You’re screaming so loud I can’t hear you.”
