Can’t make it. But if you want some “You’re either with us or from Hollywood !”shirts I will ship them out to you.

Good luck. And if you see any commie pinko fags burning old glory I suggest water balloons.

Filled with rubbing alcohol.

You’re rallying at the Lincoln Memorial to wave Confederate flags?

Why there?

Hopefully, Southrons & CBF flaggers will disregard this suggestion about the alcohol. We don’t need this kind of crap to come back on us. The optics would not be good.

This isn’t my Facebook page, I just came across it. I don’t know for sure why the Lincoln Memorial was chosen, maybe because that is the most common place for demonstrations in Washington.

Excuse my rant regarding the flag.

After the Civil War, the South suffered terrible famine and other hardships. Healing was difficult. Still it proceeded. Among others, President Grant appointed John Singleton Mosby to high office, and his wife became close friends with the widow of Jefferson Davis. One of Mosby's men donated land for a memorial to Union soldiers who died at the Battle of Aldie. Finch wrote the song "The Blue and the Gray."

Even though the South lost, this is not enough for bigoted persons such as Governor Rikki Haley who won't even allow them (many of whom voted for her) to display a battle flag, and she is doing her part in further reopening the wounds and dividing us.

Nikki even went so far as to blame the battle flag for the horrible church murders by an evil man. This suggests tome that she is a schemer and liar, delusional and/or blinded by her bigotry. Whatever her reason, she is not about to promote preservation of our history. Will she try to ban the U.S. flag next? After all, it was the Union flag, not the battle flag of he army of Northern Virginia, which flew over the slave ships.

Somebody posted in response to Nikki's comments regarding the flag (largely a repetition of the Left's talking points)that the only symbol of hate in the flag controversy was her smirking face as she stuck it to the South.

To paraphrase Giuliani's quote about Obama: "Nikki Haley does not love America. She wasn't brought up the way we were brought up with love for this country." Of course, she is not the only one going after the flag and everything South. Even NASCAR spoke out against it. And it is not just South but Christian symbols, etc.

We should support this. Even if you are neutral about the flag, it is part of our history. Forbidding it is another attack on our freedom of speech. Year after year the left has been dictating what we can say, dominating the media and colleges.

Exactly right about that. Everyone should get behind this effort, because it’s not just the Confederate flag, and monuments that are in the crosshairs of the leftists, it’s everything associated with America pre-2000. We’ve already seen efforts to eliminate Minuteman monuments, and “schools” restricting the display of the American flag. Schools named for George Washington and Thomas Jefferson have already been renamed in some places. Columbus Day has become Indigenous Peoples Day in MN and other states. The Confederate flag and monuments has been picked at this time, because the left figures that only Southerners will care, and only a tiny minority of them will actually resist.

The only way to deal with these bullies is to fight back. We saw this with Trump. At first Macy’s and other big businesses promote boycott against him. When he refused to back down, there has been no more talk about boycotts as far as I know.

Virginia recalling license plates with the flag seems to me to be illegal since they were legally approved and obtained.
