Fox is just like the GOPe. They want conservative viewers and toss some bones until they have to get real and show their true colors.

Exactly. Faux News is a fraud.

Fox, much like the Republican Party, has obviously decided it’s better for business to replace their conservative audience/conservative base with Leftists (i.e., MSNBC viewers, et al./legal and illegal mexicans, et al., respectively).

Wallace as PREDICTED was an ambush-assassin;
but for who?

Jeb.
Romney.
Soros.
Obama and Hillary.
Rove.

Evidence of media commonality. Fox sounds just like the liberal media.

Well then, they must all agree that FoxNews is the appropriate channel to do the Democrat Debates too, yes? I would LOVE to see that! But it won’t happen. Big Media only loves FoxNews when they are destroying Republicans. And one good question for the Dem candidates would be: Do you make a distinction between Legal Immigrants and Illegal Immigrants? Why not?

I want tough questions especially for those I am considering casting a vote. Softball questions serve nobody.

Some of the questions were just baiting or sensational rather than ‘tough.’ I’m guessing someone thinks it makes for better TV.

They were interview questions though - I didn’t hear much debating amongst the candidates.

Like a movie set in Hollywood, Fox News puts up a conservative façade that looks real but there’s nothing behind it. Its all for appearances to fool the viewers into thinking they are seeing the real thing. This deception has worked well for Fox over the years but last night there was a fire on the movie set and the façade burned down exposing the veneer for what it was.

Of course they believe Fox did a great job: they know Trump can’t beat Hillary. The minute we start paying attention to Cruz, Hillary’s agents will start attacking. In the meantime they applaud us at the gallows.

At least Trump got a warm-up for the other debates.

If this is how FOX News treats him, how much worst will the other liberal networks treat him.

He slapped these moderators around and I'm sure he'll do the same to others.

No doubt about it, the second debate moderation was pitifully unprofessional.

I’m an old guy who has seen many, many political debates and I thought it was as good as it gets. I enjoyed it.

The moderators did hit Trump with hard questions, and I have no problem with that. He is a big boy on a big stage and should (and did) handle them. The other candidates also got some very tough questions. Questions their supporters probably didn’t like, and they too fielded them well. The moderators pretty well cleared out the garbage and subsequent debates can take a different tact. IMO

This statement is not a plus for Fox.

I nearly turned off the debates before they began, because of the clumsy mishandling, poor commentary and wasted time of the questioners.

If they chose the questions, they manifest a lack of integrity to truth, seeking to only promote adversity.

I wish they had given each speaker an ad hoc 2 minutes of free air time to state their position, instead of wasting it commenting about the arena and what a great crowd they had.

It wasn’t a debate. It wasn’t a platform. It developed into a talk show gossip session at the hands of wanna be popularity seekers.

The real candidates presented, tended to be less verbose than those engaged in the popularity-fest.
