“Profound,” “trusted,” “insightful,” “invaluable patriot,” “too cool to be spun.”
These are just some of the over-the-top bouquets members of the so-called serious news media have thrown Jon Stewart’s way in the last few days of his run as anchor of The Daily Show.
Of course this “trusted source in news” overwhelmingly skewered some of the liberal media’s favorite conservative targets.
Over the years Stewart has used his Daily Show perch to mock Dick Cheney’s “torture boner,” called conservative columnist Robert Novak a “vampire demon,” and yelled “Go f*** yourself!” at Bernie Goldberg, Republican Senator Jeff Sessions and Fox News. He also told conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh to “get the f*** out of” New York.
The following compilation is just a sampling of Stewart’s gross attacks on conservatives during his 16-year stint as host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show:

Why do we get so mad about some liberal entertainer
ragging on conservatives when we rag so much harder
on that entertainer?
It’s just some words and has no more significance than you choose to give it.
You know the old saying that when you’re pointing a fingers at someone . three are pointed backatcha.
I like Smucker’s.. I don’t like schmucks..
The reason we do that is because Stewart has had such influence over young people especially. There are many who consider his show a legitimate news show. Many get their news from Jon Stewart. That’s why we pay attention to him.because he influences people.
Never could stand him.
He is proof that we are no longer a serious country.
I hate cowards.
Never watched his show, even once.He, and Bill Mhahar. And now there’s a stupid last week today on HBO that is cut from the same liberal cloth. I won’t watch it either.

Seems to me you add to the “influence” when you rag on him.
I’ve seen examples of some fellow along Stewart’s line rag on a
conservative and have hundreds of posts about him, condemning him to hell.
Words is words, and they didn’t break anyone’s skin.
Along with his socialism, Jon Stewart helped to popularize/ normalize public speaking with heavy profanity, with no apology!
What’s the old line? When you’re taking flack then you’re over the target? I like Stewart. I’ll miss him. I don’t agree with him all the time. But a lot of the holes he poked in conservatives, and the few he poked in liberals, were justified.
Stewart is the adolescent sitting at the back of the classroom blowing f*rts and enjoying everyone’s consternation over the results - annoying but hardly worth the attention he craves.....

Stewart on his cable perch may not command the same sort of audience as the late night comics on the major nets, but he represents the worst of the liberal dominated media.
Profanity laced rants masquerading as “comedy” directed at conservatives for the past 16 years while acting for the past 7 as Zero’s biggest cheerleader.
We don’t need to focus or respond to his ilk every day, but considering today is his final show it’s fitting to look back. The air waves will be a better place tomorrow in his absence!
By reacting to him, as have many over the years, you add to his influence.

fainting over some criticism and snarkiness.
If you can’t handle some words, then you have no business directing world events.
Jon also took on Pelosi, ran a show on Grubber, and ragged on the incompetent Washington people behind the Obamacare website...
Yeah, he wasn’t conservative...
