Here's their reason for giving Trump a RED mark on Taxes, Economy and Trade:
Trump has spoken about several tax initiatives that would bring about mixed results. They include taxing the assets of the wealthy, reducing the corporate tax rate to zero, taxing companies that outsource jobs overseas, lowering the rate on capital gains and dividends, repealing the death tax, and broadening the tax base and lowering rates overall.
He opposes fast track trade authority and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, popularly dubbed Obamatrade, and at best is fine with mandatory unionization and at worst opposes a national Right-To-Work law. One distinguishing difference between Trump and other candidates is that he would charge a stiff import tax on Chinese products and for repercussions for perceived currency manipulation.
Several conservatives have expressed concern that this could spark retaliatory tariffs from the Chinese on American exports but also drive up costs for American consumers. Without a more specific review of Trumps tax plans it is impossible to predict its effect on the economy.
For example Trump advocates for tax relief but then in the same breath supports raising taxes, which is reminiscent of some Democrat, tax plans. Additionally concerning is his plan for increasing tariffs on imports which could lead to increased tariffs on exports. Lastly Trump could potentially be the only 2016 GOP candidate that is not supportive of a national Right-To-Work law.
- In 1999, Trump advocated for a one-time 14.25 percent tax on individuals and trusts with a net worth of over $10 million. He argued that the tax would raise $5.7 trillion in revenue and erase the national debt. (The America We Deserve)
- Trump’s five point tax plan includes repealing the death tax; lowering the rate on capital gains and dividends; reducing the corporate tax rate to zero; imposing a 20 percent tax on those who outsource jobs overseas; and introducing a tax system with four brackets. The lowest bracket would be one percent and the top bracket 15 percent. (Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again)
- Trump has correctly argued that lowering the tax rate on capital gains and dividends is critical for investment. “Capitalism requires capital. When government robs capital from investors, it takes away the money that creates jobs.” (Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again)
- Trump believes eliminating corporate taxes will create more jobs, saying, “How can we expect companies to hire American workers and locate their businesses in America when our government taxes them at exorbitant rates for doing so?” (Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again)
- Trump opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal and giving President Obama fast track authority over trade deals. "While I'm a Republican, right now, some in the Republican Party are working overtime to hand more power to President Obama. These same people are turning their backs on the American workers and businesses." (Newsmax)
- Trump isn’t bothered by mandatory unions and hasn’t addressed the need for a national right-to-work law. “I grew up with unions. New York is largely union, and I sort of spent a lot of time in Florida, which is also a union right-to-work state so it’s a different kind of thing. But I’ve had great relationships with unions, and I’ve made good deals. I’ve made a lot of money, I mean, I’ve made many billions of dollars and in many cases I’ve been dealing with unions. So, really, collective bargaining doesn’t bother me so much.” (Human Events)
- Trump supports penalties for perceived currency manipulation by foreign governments. While nice sounding at first it doesn’t account for the fact the U.S. manipulates its currency through quantitative easing, but also for the potential for retaliatory tariffs. (Newsmax)
- Trump supports imposing harsh penalties on Chinese imports to encourage good behavior. “I would tell China that you’re either going to shape up, or I’m going to tax you at 25 percent for all the products you send into this country.” (The Wall Street Journal)
- Trump supports a multi-tiered wage control system, one tier for new entrants to the job market and a second slightly higher tier for older workers. (CommonDreams)

I know little about carly but was impressed with a couple interviews I saw.
I see on this chart she is one of the worst rated.
Maybe not such a good VP pick idea?

Ted Cruz is GREEN all the way except on FREE MARKET, where he gets a YELLOW ( Mixed raring ).
Here are their reasons for giving this grade:
Cruz generally has a good record when it comes to free market issues. A firm opponent of bloated spending and entitlement bills, he has voted against multiple farm bills that include hundreds of billions of dollar for the food stamp welfare program and market-distorting subsidies. Additionally, Cruz has opposed policies that would inhibit free trade.
Most recently, he has proven to be a leader in opposing the reauthorization of the crony capitalist Export-Import Bank and the Federal Communications Commission’s proposed regulations on the Internet, also known as Net Neutrality. Despite his generally positive record, Cruz has supported smaller government subsidy programs in a few industries – tobacco, national flood insurance, and the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program.
However unlike some of the other candidates when pressed by special interest about his opposition to the Renewable Fuel Standard Cruz, true to his nature, has told them point blank he opposes it and thinks, “Washington should not be picking winners-and-losers.”
- Cruz co-authored a letter with Senator David Vitter (R-LA) to the Federal Housing Finance Agency, calling for a continuation of a suspension on bailouts to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in February 2014. (Vitter.Senate.gov)
- Cruz joined with more than a dozen Senate Republicans in writing a letter to House Speaker John Boehner requesting the House stop the Obama administration from bailing out health insurance companies that participate in Obamacare via Obamacare’s risk corridor program. (Daily Signal)
- Cruz voted against a "Buy American" amendment in 2013. (Senate.gov)
- Cruz voted to repeal sugar subsidies and the sugar price support program in 2013. (Senate.gov)
- Cruz voted to protect tobacco grower subsidies in 2013 (Senate.gov)
- Cruz voted against the $1 trillion farm bill in 2013. (Senate.gov)
- After originally voting in favor of key reforms necessary to reduce the federal government’s role in the National Flood Insurance Program (Senate.gov), Cruz switched his vote to delay these reforms in March of 2014. (Senate.gov)
- Cruz voted against the final $940 billion Farm Bill in 2014, which failed to reform food stamps or agriculture programs in a meaningful way. (Senate.gov)
- Cruz voted in favor of extending the termination date of the Terrorism Insurance Program underTRIA in 2014 (Senate.gov)
- Cruz has been an outspoken opponent of the FCC’s controversial Net Neutrality regulations. (Washington Post)
- Cruz has also introduced legislation that would curtail EPA regulations that have hindered the free-market. (Cruz.Senate.gov)
- Cruz voted to replace the food stamp program with state block grants in 2013. (Senate.gov)
- Cruz opposes the crony capitalist Export-Import Bank and has been a vocal opponent. (USA Today)
- Cruz also has consistently opposed the federally mandated Renewable Fuel Standard (ethanol). (Cleveland.com)
- Cruz is a sponsor of legislation to Audit the Federal Reserve and has said, “The Federal Reserve needs to fully open its books so Congress and the American people can see what has been going on.” (NY Times)

The question for me is, if the elites get the legacy candidates, Bush and Clinton, which one is worse? Bearing in mind that Clinton seems to have a problem making her talk really slow, and Bush seems to think slow (maybe he’s having problem translating from Spanish to English??

If you look at the chart in the Conservative Review page, there are only TWO candidates with NO GREEN on all of the above issues -— JEB BUSH and CARLY FIORINA.
JEB BUSH IS RED ON THE FOLLOWING ISSUES:
Civil Liberties
Energy and Environment
Immigration
Free Market.
I wonder why they did not give him a RED on Education as he is the foremost proponent of Common Core.

The VP selection is NOT for next Prez.
The VP selection IS to maximize the votes for the ticket.
Carly can do that on a ticket w Cruz.

It’s not a pretty thought but a large number of presidents have been assassinated or died in office.
The VP immediately becomes president then.
So if a candidate is really bad on the issues then no I don’t want them as VP

You have to look at what the Prez can actually affect.
Strong on Defense.
Strong on deregulation to help business.
Strong on defunding PP.

Cruz has been consistent, He is my guy, nobody else even comes close.
Trump has held every position at some point in time. I sometimes wonder if Trump is part of a collaboration with the Clintons to consume all the conservative oxygen clearing the way for Hillary. Maybe there was something on those FBI files after all? It is just speculation, but I do not trust him, he has shown that he is not always driven by sound principles. Still, I love seeing the GOPe getting exposed as the frauds that they are.
