If I were an elite, I’d give the job to Cruz. He’s got the skills, this is his best thing, he stands a snowball’s chance of getting elected, and his wife is in a great position to be pressured and rewarded by Wall Street which the article says is where this “take him out” order is coming from.
If you were an elite, you’d not be thinking of the constitution, you’d be trying to control a bureaucrat that you think would best serve your personal interests. Try to never become an elite.
