My first car was a 51 Plymouth. If I cut the ignition and turned it back on just right I could rattle windows for blocks.
It was hard on mufflers but a lot of fun!

Yea, the old man complained that he had to replace the muffler while I was at school.

My first car was a 51 Plymouth. If I cut the ignition and turned it back on just right I could rattle windows for blocks. It was hard on mufflers but a lot of fun! Took me back - did that with my '61 Chevy Bel Air - split the muffler along the seam and left a raised area on the driver's floorboard from the concussion.
