So, according to Geraldo, “quota hires” is a derogatory term but “affirmative action” is “justice”? Sorry, but he can’t have it both ways. Either the hired individual gets the position based on intellectual merit or legal imperative without sufficient intellectual merit. If the latter, then it’s a “quota hire”, and if that’s derogatory, then don’t support it.
