“In furtherance of DHS’s mission to safeguard the homeland, [United States Citizenship and Immigration Services] is committed to fostering integration and community cohesion,” the agency recently told the Immigration and the National Interest Subcommittee in records obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

All I can say is “Nice try.” They really think we are that stupid.
We are already essentially promising eventual citizenship to the whole world. If we can have everyone in the world voting in American elections then we are much closer to that world government that the Left so craves. The elections even now don’t actually mean anything so there is no danger to the ruling class that it might be displaced and if everyone “participates” everyone will think they are, indeed, part of America and the tentacles of that ruling class will spread more easily.
And may obama’s family someday be protected by Islam refugees who are annointed as Amercan citizens... ?

How many of the American jihadists have been American citizens or here for many years and fully capable of having applied? Surely Major Hassan the Ft Hood killer was a citizen. Were the Tsarnaevs denied citizenship? The “ refugees” from rich Kuwait.... did they apply for citizenship? The Bosnian jihadist who shot up the Utah mall over infidel Valentines.... Was he a citizen?
Etc etc etc
This is a distraction from the real issue of voluntary non assimilation due to a deep cultural divide
