No. Halal requirements are much looser than kosher requirements. Everyone has seen videos on the internet of Muzzies just hacking mindlessly rather than skillfully and humanely at hapless water buffalo calves or sheep with an ax. It is obvious that they often miss and leave the animal in untold pain and terror before they can land another amateurish blow with the ax. You can often see kids or teens in those videos laughing at the animal's plight. Very nice.

Kosher slaughter must be done by highly trained individuals with a razor sharp knife examined minutely before each kill. The kill stroke must be one smooth motion. If it is interrupted or sawn back and forth, that's not a kosher kill and the animal cannot be deemed kosher. There has been some bad publicity about certain "kosher" slaughterhouses deviating from the approved methods, but no one who is truly observant would buy from those slaughterhouses. I know that their product will never pass my door's threshold. I do not support inhumane slaughter.

This ban on kosher slaughter (that's what it's REALLY aimed at, they just had to include halal to be "fair") is just another manifestation of antisemitism by Germanic non-Jews.
