My grandmother always told us to be invisible to all in authority. Give them no reason to desire to know of or about you. Your outward appearance and movements should always be like a fart in the wind.
Should an impasse take place after following the above rules, an attorney (preferably one you have a close relationship with as a friend)should be called immediately.
As for filming the cops in front of your house, don't be an idiot. A 24 /7 motion activated camera transmitting to a DVR does that for you and the cop has no idea. I have six around my property with the monitor inside.
