In the early 90’s I had a coworker that was pregnant several times, but only had 3 (maybe 4?) girls. Come to find out that after a sonogram when the sex could be confirmed, the boy babies “went away” . . .
That is just heartbreaking.
There are enough terrible murders going on without mothers
killing their own children because they’re the “wrong” sex.
I’m sterile, so we never had children. And since we both had
high-end, very busy management jobs, adoption wasn’t an option.
I simply cannot imagine killing one’s own child. It’s far beyond me.
