I am shocked,
SHOCKED!
..... to find that Dick Gregory is still alive!
He's fallen a long way if he's taking $1400 gigs to speak at the Census Bureau.
I saw/heard this fraud back in my undergrad days (1978?). In that speech, he railed against Hollywood paying Marlon Brando too much to appear in Superman.

Looking on the Internet it looks like black men may have invented the Slap shot and played it back in the 1800s but its origins go back 5000 years. Google says “modern” hickey was invented by British soldiers in the 1850’s.
