Recent headlines reveal the deadly schizophrenia torturing the soul of the West. Schizophrenia is typified by many as causing a split personality, though this is not technically the case. Nevertheless, it remains a euphemism for the mental dysfunction.
Planned Parenthood's rapacious profiteering off the body parts of infant human beings, exposed by undercover videos, is the topic of one set of headlines. Just as we are digesting this horror comes this one: "Spanish town grants human rights to cats and dogs." The leaders of Trigueros del Valle outlawed "the mutilation or death of a non-human resident" (animals having been declared "residents" in the declaration of the town's council).
A Spanish animal rights organization said the occasion of the council's pronouncement was "a great day for humans and non-human citizens alike." Would that human babies in and/or emerging from their mothers' wombs in America's Planned Parenthood abortuaries described by George Will as "federally subsidized meat markets" had such status, including protection against "mutilation or death."
Treating animals as humans and humans as animals reveals the ethical schizophrenia of many in contemporary Western culture. Don't get me wrong. I have much affectionate interaction and care for my two dogs, brought into our household through an animal rescue organization. I walk with them every morning, laugh with them many times during the day, and delight in their companionship. I will protect them in every way possible...

Cain, the brother of Abel, firstborn son of Adam and Eve heard the oft repeated story of how his parents broke faith with God and sinned. He heard how beautiful Eden was before the fall, and the saw the yearly animal sacrifice that had to be offered for each man's sins. For without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. Adam, Eve, and Abel understood this well and brought their sacrifices to the alter (Genesis 4).
But this did not sit well with Cain. Why should an innocent lamb have to suffer for him? What was so urgent, so evil, so wrong that would necessitate the death of a beautiful animal? So he improvised. He brought the first of his crops to the alter as a sacrifice. When Jesus Christ came down to the alter, he found Cain's unacceptable. Cain's disagreement with God went from disagreement, to depression, to hatred, to murder. The man who would not shed the blood of an animal for the forgiveness of his sins, went off and shed the blood of his brother.
American has gone the "way of Cain". Outraged, wrathful, Americans will go through hell and high water to stop lawful safari hunts of lions (food) in Africa, but will not lift a finger to stop the harvesting, butchering, dismemberment, and sale of baby body parts. Judgment is coming on our nation. What will happen Cain, and those who follow his way?
Jude 1: 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying , Behold , the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed , and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
>>Schizophrenia is typified by many as causing a split personality
It would be more accurately typified as a “fractured mind” resulting from a dysfunctional world-view.
The manufactured inability to process information and cope with reality has been a cash cow for various state-establishments throughout history.
Bullshyte in, Ba’alshyte out.
Yes, very good.
Treating animals as humans and humans as animals reveals the insanity of many in contemporary Western culture.
Exactly! It is an unnatural affection...(Romans 1). Like Sodomy!
How about treating Christianity as evil
and condoning and obfusicating muslim terrorism ?
How about treating the police as BAD
and criminals as GOOD ?
How about treating Israel as BAD and Iran as GOOD ?
How about treating baby killing and baby vivisection for profit as GOOD
and those who expose it as BAD ?
Hey Marvin! Are you making an observation or other?
Ok, I think I understand!
I ran out of observations-—for the moment.
