Ok. I respect your right to disagree with me. No problem. Just so you know, Mark Styne quoted this article as well in his article today to show what Zimbabweans think about Cecil. Totally different than the way Americans/British feel about Cecil...

Thank you for putting it all together so well.

You'll have to go to S.E. Asia or Australia for water buffalo. Cape Buffalo are found in Africa. If you want a bison to complete your collection you can try Colorado. All of them can be nasty critters that would stomp you into an unidentifiable stain in the dirt, so know what you're getting in to.

I loved Elsie the lion. Wow, you need better 'righters'. What a clown.

...and choose unnatural affections (e.g. sodomy, animal worship, idolotry)
Demonstrating concern over wasteful and selfish (not to mention, outdated) 'sport' hunting is not animal worship. Indeed, I believe the case could be made for this type of hunting to be the ultimate expression of greed and self aggrandizement.
To quote the estimable, Paul Washer - "Twish not scripture, lest ye be like Satan..."

Lurking Lib, do you disagree with this Zimbabwe news site that questions the outrage?I have no idea what the average Zimbabwean thinks. If I had to guess, I would say that many of them are struggling to survive and couldn't give a darn about one lion more or less. But I do know the official position of the Zimbabwean government, which was to ask for the hunter to be extradited.

You have no understanding of scriptures. How do you like your chicken? How about your hamburger? What about your tenderloin? You must not have read the article, because the people of Zimbabwe have more common sense than you. Lion is one of their main cash crops!

Now all the airlines are banning the transport of animal trophies. Delta and American are the latest to do so. Zimbabwe has also suspended bow and arrow hunting as well as any hunting near the park where cecil was illegally killed. God is in the details.

Elsie is a COW.
So you wanna go to Zimbabwe to see a cow?

Thanks, I may be going to South Africa on business, and the client offers they have a reserve to hunt the big 5. Not sure I’ve got the cash for bringing the trophies back. Especially now that the chicken squirt airlines are banning transportation.

It reminds me of the South Park episode about The Rainforest and how the natives didn’t understand why saving the Rainforest was such a big deal....
“You white Americans make me sick! You waste food, oil, and everything else because youre so rich, and then you tell the rest of the world to save the Rainforest because you like its pretty flowers.

Thank you for that information. Lots of stuff I haven’t seen in the press. Definitely clouds the picture for our dentist.

Wow. What a bizarre response. I would offer the following -
1) The only understanding of scripture I have is given to me by God's grace. Without it, every verse, every word would be meaningless.
2) "..because the people of Zimbabwe have more common sense than you." I will disregard your rudeness on this one. However, you may want to recant as the good folks of Zimbabwe evidently have little common sense if it costs 10 million Zimbabwean dollars to buy 2 rolls of toilet paper.

Being accused of twisting scriptures and being satanic is significant enough to warrant a fiery riposte. That said, the response of the American media, public, corporations, and politicians over safari hunting is not "concern". It is outright rage. At the same time, there is very little rage by these same parties over baby harvesting. This is unnatural affection and a form of idolatry, pure and simple.
Additionally, it is no secret that Zimbabwe is one of the world's most corrupt, bankrupt countries. But if current leadership is the measuring standard of a country's common sense, the United States Ranks very close.

You may have heard,
You can borrow money, but you can't borrow time. If the bunny huggers get their way this might be the last opportunity you'll ever have.
Run, don't walk, to your favorite gun shop and buy a .375 H&H and a .458 Win Mag. Find a local with big bore experience as a coach and start shooting. Start exercising and walking. A few months of this and you won't slow the PH down too much.
A lot of the game in S.A. is imported from other countries - they ate their local herds!

Yes, there is. Not by the liberal left though. But we expected that, no? ;)

Agreed! But they run the country... ;-(
