Oh yes you will. You’ll think those were the good ole days

That’s what liberals do. They take functioning cities and make them Detroit.

Let the animals shoot each other. I’m far away, and intend on staying out of that place.

I remember reading that some idiots in NY were saying they voted for de Blasio because they thought his son’s afro was really cool.

Why doesn’t Bratton just change the way shootings are reported to show less gun crimes/deaths? That’s what he did in LA, no?

It didn’t take Mayor Warren Wilhelm long to mess up that city, did it?

There were no confederate flags found, so as far as I’m concerned, this never happened.

Well Mr. Bratton, it appears you can.

Duh.

A lot of the time, they shoot innocent people while aiming at fellow criminals. A four-year old boy was just shot and killed here in southern California while playing in his grandmother’s yard. Two gangbangers were arrested.

They gave credit to the drop in crime to unleaded gasoline and legal abortions. Wonder how they’ll spin this as both are still here and the only difference is police policy.

Mayor de Blasio has stated that regular people don’t need to worry about these murders, it’s just a bunch of drug dealers and gang members killing each other.

I’m surprised he said this, even though it’s true.

As long as no lions are harmed, who cares.

In 1990, NYC had 2,245 murders. In 1991, it had 2,154.

That’s in excess of six per day, every day, for at least two years.

One murder every four hours or less, 24-7, 365.

New York recently passed more gun control and murders went up. I reckon they need even more gun control. /sarc

“A lot of the time, they shoot innocent people while aiming at fellow criminals. A four-year old boy was just shot and killed here in southern California while playing in his grandmother’s yard. Two gangbangers were arrested.”

Clearly my reaction was knee jerk, and not well thought out. However, the tragic kind of thing you mention may be unavoidable. When you have certain “disadvantaged” minorities, and you give the city over to Democrats/communists, there is little hope.

We can’t repeat the 1970s?

Sure we can. We just need an ineffective liberal giving into criminals at the helm. That’s really all it would take.
