TX Senator John Cornyn refuses to use the "nuclear option" because of his principles. That's what one of his staffers told me. Principles.

In other words, Cornyn could get the defund passed but is hiding behind the GOP's moral stance against using the nuclear option. Really. That's his excuse.

Moral stance for senate decorum vs moral stance for killing unborn babies. And Cornyn chose the senate.
