This Badass Cop Will Have You Fired Up to Find Robber of a Family Store and Deliver Rough Justice

In Louisiana, there’s a police officer who gets straight to the point.

“Look at me, son. I’m talking to you…. We’re going to identify you, arrest you, and put you in a small cell. After that, I’m going to have a cheeseburger here – with fries and a Coke. And leave a nice tip for the waitress. Meanwhile, your next meal will be served through a small hole in a cell door.”
His name is Lt. Clay Higgins, and he vowed to make a robber “famous” in a stark video taken at ABC affiliate KATC.

After Stelly’s Supermarket and restaurant was robbed on July 8th, Lt. Higgins made it his life mission to find the punk who did it.

Lt. Higgins has reasons to be confident.

“Because our detectives harvested DNA from the rock you used and you left a perfect boot print on the door you kicked in. But we won’t have to wait on lab results, ’cause you’re on St. Landry crimestoppers tonight. Congratulations, son. I’m about to make you famous.”
The police officer gave the thug who kicked down a door and robbed the “friendly” Stelly’s something to chew on.
“By tomorrow, 100,000 people will have you watched you commit a felony. You will be recognized, and the people that know you don’t really like you anyway, so when it comes down to a choice between you and a $1,000: They’ll take the cash.”
I’m ready to grab a pitchfork and hunt this guy down on behalf of the Stelly’s. Anybody else?

Looks very much like a Drill Sergeant I once had. He was also a badass!

The only thing I disagree with is the fact that it was exposed that “we have a perfect boot print”. If the guy saw that.. the boots will be burned or buried (thrown away etc).

Yup, but the perp will have thousands of boot prints around his house, in his truck, and at his usual haunts.

Besides his ever lovin' buddies will notice the replacement footwear and that if nothing else will cinch it in their mind$...

Perhaps. My point was simply it would have been a slam dunk if they found the boots (that matched the prints at the restaurant) in his closet for a comparison. The other prints (vehicle, ground etc) can be washed away or fade. Don’t mind me today, null and void.. I’m just being overly picky. :)

Don’t forget another possibility; the cop is lying about the boot print, it may be something else that they have.

Video isn’t worth a damn for facial recognition.

However if someone can recognize the mannerisms.
