Deniz-Mendoza apparently murdered these people because the daughter made a joke about his being stranded in the middle of nowhere. That’s what Mexico’s cholo culture is like: they’ll stab or shoot you for “disrespecting” them. Apparently, most of our politicians think that people like Mendoza are just what America needs (millions) more of.
