Rolling Stone is trying to make up for past stupidity...the self anointed “authorities on rock and roll” did nothing but berate and destroy the mighty Led Zeppelin in the 70’s as the band roamed the earth, kicking butt and taking names...

the past 20 years they’ve changed their tunes and finally realized what everyone else has known about the mighty Zep...

I remember when it was a privilege to get 'your picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone' - almost a goal for some bands.

I get it that the band Rush is not everybodys cup of tea, but it took them over 40 years and 10s of millions of record sales to finally get on the cover of the Rolling Stone(June 2015), for what is worth.

I'm sure the reluctance was still high to put a marginalized artist on the cover, but at least Rush has a measurable amount of success.

The following month, they had the tramp Kim Kardashian on the cover. Perhaps Rush should have declined.
