I have no doubt that while he walks, he just can't help himself but to stick his leg out and trip some pedestrians for amusement
But eventually he ends up at God's throne to express a little arrogance
God allows him to have Job except Job's life and a whole bushel of evil is heaped upon Job's head
Maybe we're approaching that last chapter of Job and the evil has lost it's punch and some restoration is in order.
We can hope.
