Barnicle is a perfect example of the large number of idiots out there (mostly liberal) attempting to analyze Middle Eastern motives and strategies with Western principals and standards. That simply doesn’t work. Our ethics, religious beliefs and respect for life just don’t exist over there — so it’s really useless to judge their motives or objectives by our standards of what one should/would do.
