A good analogy would be warning TV stations not to show film of a car wreck, where there’s blood on the road. Those patients didn’t consent to have their tissue (in the form of blood) filmed for broadcast, either.

Do women who consent to abort a pregnancy at PP sign away rights on any document on behalf of the fetus' privacy? When does HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) apply to fetus?
