I can give a simpler and shorter version of what is happening: Most of the world is trying to finish Hitler’s work. If they only kill all of the Jews, there will be peacce in our time and milk and honey will flow from the heavens.

The real reason is that they remind the world of the real God, His real Son, His Son’s soon return and the real judgement of the wicked (that includes you Satan boy!) that will follow. Yes, a very uncomfortable future for many and they’d rather not think about it. Satan is trying his best to destroy Israel so the real Messiah will not have a nation to come back to and His promises to that nation then could not be fulfilled and God would be proved a lier and not so powerful after all.
