Corrupt? Did Trump break the Law? Never heard that one.

If you are saying the System is Corrupt, that’s one thing.
Petition your Congress Critter to change it.

If you are saying that Trump is Corrupt for working within that System, then you are off Base unless you can prove Criminality on his part.

Here’s the thing about Trump: deep down, when you force yourself to NOT consider the good he’s done recently, you know...you just KNOW that ultimately Donald Trump’s first and foremost concern, will be to do what is good for Donald Trump.

I am not saying Trump is corrupt. I am saying that he and all who play the pay for play game are contributing to the corruption pols.

They ‘may’ not be doing it willingly and I doubt that Trump WANTS to pay chas he does not have to... but the result is what it is. Corrupt pols.

The solution is to expose it and not pay. It is already illegal. Bring a RICO case and prove that deals were scuttled by non payment. It would not be hard.

I don't think one has to "force" themselves to not consider what good Trump has done lately.

All one has to do is look at Trump's record up to the last 60'ish days to see that it's blatantly obvious Trump is for Trump. Period.

The man is a master at self promotion. That's not saying anything bad about Trump. If anything it's a recognition that the man knows how to market himself, his companies and his brand. To that end, he's been hugely successful and only a knuckle-dragging moron would begrudge him his successes.

The Trump of the last 60'ish days has been far different from the Trump of the last several decades. The history of "Trump being in it for Trump" I believe does make one pause out of concern and ask the question "What's in it for Trump?"

That I think is a reflection on Trump's past and the current corrupt political climate I think we all agree is present.

As for me, the jury is still out on Trump. I do appreciate the fact that he's elevating the issues that are really pissing off the American People. For that, we owe him our gratitude. He does however, have to prove he's in it to win it and for the right reasons. The only certainty we have there is that time will tell.

Walker has a record and that is one reason he is acceptable. But he is a buddy of El chapo Priebus, RNC chair. And he is short on charisma. But if he is the nominee, I will vote for him.

However based on country’s direction, we need a president who is not in the pockets of rich donors. Only such person running is Trump. The elected professional politicians have disappointed me and the middle class for 27 years in a row.

“...what was the point of the 2014 GOP congressional landslide?”

I have a theory that the GOP in this next election may lose significant ground in the Senate and Congress, may even between now and then, lose one of those houses because of the rift created by the establishment to expose true conservatives (Tea Party)...

Even though we stand a good chance to win the WH...

I just do not see this turning out very well leading up to the election...

I hope I am wrong...

you probably seen what I compared Trump to on the Texas board...

Trump is the lead blocker for these other campaigns he is sucking the air out of...

Trump cannot sustain this momentum for long, and these other campaigns need to be ready to shoot the gaps he is blocking for them...

I have a feeling they will break out soon leading up to the opening primaries, and we’ll see some realistic defining shifts after the first debates as well...
