>>I’m disappointed he couldn’t even think of one federal agency worth eliminating.<<

All that would accomplish is giving his opponents, even his GOP opponents, a target to fire at. He really is smarter than that.

He stays on message and his message is to cut the power of the federal government. That would seem to be the central concern of most of the participants on this board as well, along with border control of course.

Read the article again. He just turned every question back to the topic of cutting federal involvement in our lives. It got boring, but he didn’t deviate. Say it often enough and long enough and people finally figure out that’s really what he means to do.

Q: How do you eat a donkey?

A: One bite at a time.

This is the start. One of the biggest wails from the looney left in WI was "Scott Walker didn't run on Act 10!!" He did, but not by saying, "I'm gonna gut the unions"...he laid out the concepts in broader terms of "giving power back to the people".

It's precisely the same way he's running now. He lays out the concept first...over and over above the media talking heads so enough people get what he's about. Then the details follow.
