How about simply cutting every expenditure that isn’t within the Enumerated Powers?
Here’s my three-part rule of thumb for the consideration of all legislation: Is it moral? If not, reject it. If so, is it constitutional? If not, reject it. If so, is it absolutely necessary? If not, reject it. If so, implement it in the most efficient, inexpensive, non-intrusive manner possible.
I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.

How about simply cutting every expenditure that isnt within the Enumerated Powers? You sound as brilliant as Robert Reich talking about economics.....on paper it sounds good, but in reality, not so much.
If you do not understand that our current state cannot be changed overnight without destroying the country, then you may as well believe in unicorns and rainbows with the left.

As long as the oath of office is considered optional, we’re still on the road to ruin.
