OSKALOOSA, Iowa—Those who flocked to Donald Trump’s campaign event here this weekend said they liked the Republican presidential candidate’s willingness to make an unvarnished case for an antiestablishment campaign.
Interviews with dozens of the more than 1,000 people who came to see the reality-television star showed they have been drawn to him because of their skepticism of polished politicians.
"I am the silent majority. He talks for me,” said Jill Jepsen, a 61-year-old Oskaloosa retiree who brought her copy of Mr. Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal,” first published in 1987, for him to sign.

What I like about Trump is that maybe he will show the Republicans that the public really wants some radical antiestablishmentarianism.
Trump is weather vane. Professional politicians should take note of which way the wind is blowing.

Your point is right on.
The establishment elites have been destructive to our freedoms and economy. We need a new vision for America and one that puts America and freedom first, and that does not put elites and oligarchs and their crooked politician pals first. The Party mentality that puts politics instead of country first has resulted in derogatory policies like sanctuary cities and open borders for votes.
I saw the video. I’m not surprised at all by Trump razing the political landscape.
We needed this decades ago.

The political elite BELIEVE we are uneducated ignorant scum and they KNOW what’s best for everyone. It just so happens that what’s best for them is a lot better than what’s best for us. We must stop voting for them!
there is no more zealous a guardian of “the establishment” than a multi-billionaire. their billions rest on maintenance of the status quo.

Not when your billions are earned from trying to do business in this country filled with regulations and corporate taxes.
We are as close to one election away from a dictator taking control. These cults of personality around first Obama and now Trump are like us playing with fire.
I dont trust Trump and I dont want a megalomaniac like him anywhere near the levers of power in a world where the US president is allowed nearly unlimited power.
