Please Pray – Chick-fil-A Just Received Tragic News – This is VERY SAD (Founder's wife passed away)

Officials of Chick-fil-A have announced Jeannette McNeil Cathy, the wife of the restaurant chain’s late founder, Truett Cathy, has died. She was 92.

The restaurant chain we love serves delicious sandwiches. They are also a company run by Christian conservatives who stand up for traditional values.

Jeannette attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and married Truett Cathy in 1948. The two met when she was 8 years old! Their love was meant to be.

She supported Truett Cathy while he worked to support the Chick-fil-A brand in 1967. He credited her for strengthening his Christian faith, which is why every one of their chain stores are closed on Sundays.

Dan T. Cathy, the couple’s oldest son, serves as president and CEO of Chick-fil-A, Inc. Cathy says his mother was the family’s “spiritual nucleus and encourager.”

May God Bless the Cathy family at this sad time. They deserve our prayers and support.

Prayers for the family. Much love to them for standing by Biblical precepts when all around us, people are being persecuted-fired, etc-merely for not conforming their private thoughts to the sodomite juggernaut.

God bless her and may she rest in peace.

People of faith should take heart from the situation with Chick Fil A.

The liberals targeted the chain for boycott and eventual destruction because the founder of the chain had the audacity to say he believes in marriage as a man and a woman.

Then we remember the outpouring of support on Chick Fil A appreciation day. It was overwhelming.

And since that time, Chick Fil A sales have been strong, and the company has expanded sales and built more stores.

I believe that God works in mysterious ways, if I can use that cliche, because it applies here. Running afoul of the homosexual/liberal juggernaut can be dangerous in these times we live in, but, Chick Fil A instead has seen business improve, in spite of them not kowtowing to the liberals.

I think the boycott has fizzled out. Haven’t heard anything about it in the longest time.

I remember Rahm Emmanuel said Chick Fil A did not reflect Chicago values. What the heck are Chicago values, staging drive by shootings??? Rahm never did exactly say what he meant by that.

Former guitarist for Chicago who accidently killed himself playing Russian Roulette. One of the most underrated guitarists ever.

Prayers. But dying at 92 isn’t so bad.

And you notice that a few businesses which have catered to the sodomites have seen their fortunes slide. JC Penney, for one.

May Almighty God grant Mrs. Cathy eternal rest and comfort to her family and friends.

Yes. A former teacher of mine knew him well and had him come to our junior high in AZ. He played a few songs and I got his autograph. She dated Pete Cetera a few times. This was back in the early ‘70’s.

Condolences to the family, but peacefully passing at 92 isn’t quite “tragic”. I expected something much worse when I read the headline.

It’s a bit much to label this new a “tragic.” Of course it’s sad and her loved ones will miss her, but a Believer in Christ Jesus dying of natural causes at 92 just isn’t a tragedy. For the Believer, death is gain!

I just lost a beloved aunt a month after her 100th, most of which were good years. She drove herself and mowed her own yard into her 90’s. Sweet lady, last of my dad’s siblings. She’ll be sorely missed.

Wow she kept active all the way up to the age. I guess we can learn alot from these elders. Don’t sit around and wait until God calls you home. Keep active until he does call you home.

She worked part time decorating cakes too, lol. Gave her a little pocket money, something to do, some work friends to fuss over and bake things for. She was nothing if not industrious.
