The Brits turned to UK over to the Socialists in 1945 just like Americans turned our country over to Barry in 2008 and 2012.

One big difference is that in 1945 the British people did not know what socialism would do to them (unless they had read Hayak, but they were few). In 2008, the American people knew what socialism had done not just to Britain but to Eastern Europe and many other countries.

Of course, Bammy's 2008 campaign was built on a tissue of lies while Labour's 1945 campaign was frank that they were a socialist party who would implement a socialist agenda.
