Cruz’s “thinly veiled criticisms” were anything but “veiled.” He told the truth about the lying, Big Government friend of lobbyists that McConnell is. Anyone who watched Cruz’s magnificent speech on CSPAN yesterday would say that the phony conservative mask that McConnell and Cornyn wear during election years was ripped away by Cruz in the well of the Senate.
