The Danish government is to take out adverts in newspapers in targeted countries to tell would-be illegals to stay at home.
The move is going ahead despite rubbishing a similar plan only weeks ago by a rival political party.
Denmarks ruling Venestre party called plans by the Danish Peoples Party (Dansk Folkpartei, DF), the largest party in Danish politics, to create a video campaign targeted at potential illegal migrants abroad un-Danish. In the intervening days the case for taking more radical steps to limit migration to the nation has grown, and now the integration minister has announced the newspaper campaign.
Remarking that There is something strange about the fact that a refugee would travel through several countries before ending up in Denmark, fiery Inger Støjberg now seems to be making her job just as much about discouraging migration to Denmark as it is about integrating people after they have arrived.

Yeah...I’m sure an ad in the newspaper is going to deter them. [/s]
Too little, too late!
How politically incorrect.
“It’s cold here. The food is expensive and lousy. You’ll hate it!”
I can only imagine what the libtards would say in this country...they would be passing around the duct tape...
“You won’t like it.
We have pigs, lots and lots of pigs.
Ever heard of Danish Ham?
It’s what we do.
Good one.
That’s actually true. There are more pigs than people in Denmark.
I’ve been there. Odd little country. In 1968 I was visiting a publisher in the suburbs of Copenhagen. On the ride to her house I spotted a lone mid-rise tower ( high rise to them at the time) in the flat landscape. I remarked on it and was told that it was a state funded home for unwed mothers. She took quite a bit of patriotic pride in that.
The scale of things took me aback. The famous Tivoli Gardens was tiny. I did see the flea circus in the glass box. LOL.
And of course the Little Mermaid bronze at Copenhagen harbor side.
Lots of Carlsberg Elephant imbibed.
I like the North Sea coast of Denmark. Great for a relaxing holiday week in the dunes. Never been to Copenhagen, though.
We used to own a very nice thatched roof house in Denmark, but the gov’t doesn’t like foreign property ownership and made all sorts of problems until we ended up selling it again. They much prefer - or preferred till now - welfare-sucking third-worlders. Oh well.
Never had the chance to visit the beaches. Would have liked to though.
