I predict that the debates will shake up the polls quite a bit.
I believe that the economy is going to turn really bad starting now. By end of year it will be in very serious trouble.
Should that happen, Trump’s case will be so strong that his poll numbers should exceed 40% on its way to 50%. People will be terrified and Trump will have been saying for months now that politicians don’t do anything and that they are terrible negotiators and he can bring jobs back to America.
This downturn in the economy will play right into Trump’s hand. I think Trump knows just how bad things are and is expecting this epic economic crash. He is just there waiting with a big I-told-you-so. If people are scared enough they will flock to Trump.
Oh, I think the fix is in. Bush will be the nominee no matter what happens in the primaries.
My pet conspiracy theory is that Trump really wants Bush or Hillary to win, so he is in the race to syphon off the anti-Bush votes.
