Hummm. Self identified Democrat. I wonder if that required body modification.

When the economy crashed so horribly under George Bush because of mistakes they made having to do with banking and lots of other things, I don't think the Democrats would have done that," Trump said.

HAHAHA...this is our "savior?" Gee wiz Donald, you econ genius, all of that crash happened precisely because of what "Democrats would have done' and what they DID with Fannie, Freddie, the EPA, Community Reinvestment Act...etc. More proof that the ability to become personally wealthy, while a damned good ability, hasn't got anything to do necessarily with understanding the macro economy.

Criticism of Our Churchill is frowned upon by many here.

‘I hated what I was watching in the last two years under George W Bush’

I guess it was lost on him that the DEMOCRATS were completely in charge then???

So Donald thinks that our economy prospered under Carter, Clinton and Obama?? -— and not so well under Reagan and Bush??

He lost me....how did that work??

Democrats know less about money, banking, and economic realities in general than Republicans—Although, these days, it’s difficult to distinguish between the two.

The media has found his vulnerability.
It’s tough for them to criticize a candidate for not being conservative enough though.

That’s about the most “out of character” thing for the media to do that I can think of!

At least he’s honest about it.
¡YEB!, Perry, Graham, and others try to convince us that abandoning the rule of law is really conservative.

From the article..
“I don’t think the Democrats would have done that,” Trump said.”

“I do think I want to roll the dice a little bit more in this situation towards subsidized housing” Barney Frank(Democrat). I could go on with more and more examples of Democrats pushing the housing bubble.

Trump has his fans. I think he’s a fraud,myself.

Mr. Trump, look up Barney Frank. That was a Democrat deal and Bush happened to come in as President.

“...he was never a Bush fan.”

I voted for George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004.

George W. Bush lost me for good when (1) he said, “See you at the signing,” meaning his amnesty crap and (2) when he called Islam a “religion of peace.” More like a “religion” of pieces.

Two members of the Bush family as president are enough.

I like Trump spanking the GOPe, but Ted Cruz is still my Number 1 choice.

That’s almost word for word what he said a few years ago...”I identify AS a Democrat.” Clearly this shyster hasn’t changed.

It’ll be interesting to see the attempts to spin and minimize this. Although when a Freeper tells you she knows he’s a Dem and she would vote for him anyway, even if he’s pro-abortion, nothing will surprise me.

Actually what killed the housing market was a bazillion home equity loans. Sure, there were some homes bought by people who shouldn’t have (particularly in California), but for every one of those there had to be hundreds of variable rate refis. There were even tax professionals advising an upper-middle class acquaintance of mine and her husband to keep debt on her house for the write off. She laughed at me when I told her in 2003 or 2004 to avoid new debt on her already mortgaged house!

That was really stupid, Donald. The donks in Congress set up the bubble. Now Bush should have fought them more, but it was a donk created bubble.

He said Friday that the RNC has been “very, very nice over the last few days.”

That’s funny.

As for him not being a fan of Bush, that’s another thing he and I agree on.

In order to overturn the status quo, which is destroying the nation, lots of votes from Democrats will be required.

Scott Walker has said no such thing as “as a Democrat” .Also as I’ve seen, he makes them Dem lefties cry uncle.

Need I repeat, Trump is a donor to the Clinton Foundation. Also he has been for partial birth abortion. He’s just a Clinton Inc. product as far as I can tell.
