While there are going to be a lot of fond farewells to Jon Stewart, who will do his final episode of The Daily Show August 6, Wyatt Cenac has a much more complicated memory of the late-night host. Cenac, who was a writer and correspondent on The Daily Show for over four years, spoke with Marc Maron on his "WTF" podcast about what it was like working with Stewart. Maron asked, "And you got along with Jon?" "Naw," replied Cenac. While Cenac initially wanted to see Stewart as a father figure, he didn't get that. What he remembers instead is a moment when Stewart screamed at him in front of the entire staff. "There had, in my experience, never been an explosion like that," he said.
This happened back in the summer of 2011, when Stewart was roundly pillorying the 2012 presidential hopefuls, including one Herman Cain. He made fun of Cain by doing a "voice."

Somehow I think this story, if Jon were a conservative, the truth would have come out FOUR YEARS AGO when this happened....
There have been a lot of stories about how Stewart is supposed to be really hard to work for.
And he quit the Daily Show because he didn’t get Letterman’s gig. Good riddance!
He’s a fidget.
Like all liberals, the derangement slips out once in a while no matter how much they try to conceal the metal illness.
Right, and based on his story, Cenac appears to have a valid claim of a hostile environment. In his retelling, he politely indicated that he was made uncomfortable by the way Stewart imitated Cain, and was told to f*** off. This sort of behavior wouldn’t be tolerated in another workplace, or if it weren’t a liberal icon.
I don’t know if it’s ‘racist’ but Stewart certainly has a low IQ problem.
Those kind of people ARE hard to work for.
If he was HALF as smart as he thinks he is, he’d be in a real news job.
As I stated in an online discourse with some friends of mine, Jon Liebowitz was never funny or entertaining.
I never liked Jon Stewart. While it’s widely (and wildly) assumed that he is “cool” and “hip”, nothing could be further from the truth because he is just another follower of the left’s radical agenda with no original sense of humor.
His humor was largely mean-spirited attacks on Republicans. He would say things about Palin that he would call “anti-women” if they were said about a Democrat.
“Like all liberals, the derangement slips out once in a while no matter how much they try to conceal the metal illness.”
Exactly. Unless they go full Alan Grayson. Then it is all leftist psychosis, all the time.
Nice Little Rascals reference!
Can you imagine the absolute outrage and hysteria if a (R) had done the same thing about Obozo in 2012?.........................
That would require some real work and more integrity than he has now (I know that's a low bar but...). By staying on Comedy Central he had it both ways. He could say whatever the hell he wanted in trying to be serious or relevant, and if it backfired then fall back on the 'I'm just a comedian' excuse.
Remember that rally he and Colbert headlined? Restore Sanity in 2010? Sure don't see many videos of that fiasco floating around....
Too many people think he already is. That's the problem with Jon "Stewart".
And any business which will employ Brian Williams, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Cenk Ugyur certainly has no monopoly on brains.
There would be a re-enactment of it on SNL, which would be “shared” for weeks on FB, Upworthy, and other sites. “SNL DESTROYED THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!1!”
Maybe they would replay video of the skit on the big screen at the 2016 Dem Convention.
There’s so much great dialogue from those shows.
There are people, idiots, TO THIS VERY DAY, that actually believe that Sarah Palin said, “I can see Russia from my house.”.....................
That's another MSM trait.
After it's no longer relevant they bring to light some negative facts about some person, office holder. Something they've known all along.
Sort of a conscience clearing exercise. They can then crow that they did inform the public.
